CAM/BORDER TRADE ALLIANCE  Austin, Texas Briefing and Work Session provides a unique opportunity for First Hand Briefings of Highway Trade Corridor
and Gateway Coalition Representatives on ISTEA Reauthorization and other timely pertinent issues.

CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS
*This conference was the first time that the major North/South and East/West Connector Gateway Trade Corridor Highway Coalitions met in one forum.
*An impressive array of speakers briefed attendees on ISTEA, NEXTEA, Federal DOT Programs, Trade Flow, Corridor Development and Transportation Project and Program Development initiatives and activities.
*The Plenary Session resulted in an extremely productive, open and candid dialogue.  It resulted in the ability / to specify needs and concerns  / a consensus mission and vision / several courses of beneficial action involving association of the individual coalitions agreement while each will continue to act independently /  relative to their own interests and needs on all other issues.
